173D AIRBORNE BRIGADE NATIONAL MEMORIAL

The Warrnambool Sub Branch of the Vietnam Veterans Association is mounting ‘Operation GET DAVID THERE’.

David Carroll is the son of the late Private William (Bill) Carroll who was killed in Vietnam on 26/6/1965 and whose name will be inscribed on this memorial.

David was just a baby when his father left for Vietnam and sadly he has no recollection of his father. David’s budget limits him and without assistance cannot attend this historic dedication.

The Warrnambool Vietnam Veterans has donated $1000.00 towards David’s travel. They request like minded organizations, veterans and the public to support this appeal.

Donations can be mailed to VVAA PO Box 772 Warrnambool VIC 3280. A receipt will be issued for all donations and is tax deductible.

If you can see your way clear to assist with a donation, it is required urgently as the dedication is the 1st June 2010 and travel arrangements need to be made.
